“If the photographer is interested in the people in front of his lens, and if he is compassionate, it’s already a lot. The instrument is not the camera but the photographer.”
Hi, I’m Jenny.
My photography journey began when I was an 11 year old girl full of curiosity, enthusiasm and creativity, and it’s a passion that’s never left me.
At photography school, I studied everything from composition to lighting, focus to equipment, and everything in between. Using Leica and Zenit cameras I learnt how to transform ordinary items into beautiful works of art and tell stories punctuated with light, shadow and colour.
Later, studying Interior and Architecture Design at University, my trusted camera was my loyal companion and photography continued to be an integral part of my daily life. But it was perhaps when I became a mum that I really understood the true value of photographs. Little ones change every day, so I wanted to document every stage of my children’s lives in images so those formative years and special moments could stay with me forever. My camera became a magical box with the power to turn those moments into priceless souvenirs to be treasured for generations to come.
Now, after many years of practice, my love for photography is just as strong as it was when I was that bright eyed 11 year old. I have developed an intrinsic understanding of how to find the right angle and pose to bring out the very best in people, and I love the look on my clients’ faces when they see their true beauty captured in an image. Photography is also an excellent way to communicate, bringing loved ones together and connecting people across oceans and time zones.
I would love to open your eyes to the beauty of professional photography.
